Aftercare
I am truly honored that you chose me to help tell your story through art. Thank you for your trust and for letting me be a part of this journey to bring your creative vision to life on your skin.

The First Day
If you received an adhesive bandage, you can leave it on for up to 5 days. If you’ve never used this type of bandage before, I recommend removing it after 24 hours to be safe. To remove it, run the bandage under lukewarm water and gently pull it away from your body.
if you received a different bandage please remove it after 6-8 hours. It is best if you can keep it on overnight.
Healing Process
During the first two weeks, your new tattoo will start to peel and flake, much like a mild sunburn. This is a natural part of the recovery phase as your skin regenerates. It is essential that you do not pick, scratch, or scrub the area, as this can pull out the ink and damage the design. Simply keep the area moisturized with a thin layer of unscented lotion to ensure the colors stay vibrant.
It is normal for your tattoo to be irritated, red, or swollen for the first few days. However if you experience any signs and symptoms of infection, including but not limited to, redness, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, elevated body temperature, or purulent drainage from your tattoo please seek professional medical attention if signs and symptoms of infection occur.
Special Attention
Please be sure to have clean hands when interacting with your new tattoo.
It is good practice to wash your new tattoo twice a day. Once when you wake up and again before you go to bed.
It is important to not submerge your new tattoo in water for two weeks.
